Gulf Hagas is in an extraordinary place — sometimes referred to as the Grand Canyon of Maine — the massive cliffs and epic waterfalls are bone chilling.

The unique feature of this hiking trail is the glorious delivery of the scenery. Most of the thrilling landscape is separated by less than a mile. The trail is around four and a half miles in, a much quicker 3 and a half miles out, with six different outlooks.

Enough of the particulars, the trail will excite every person who takes it. As long as the weather is fair, the trail should be adequate.

There are a couple hazardous areas, and you want to be extra careful when you’re walking along side the cliffs because one slip, might be your demise.
